PURELY PHILISOPHICAL
Why do people feel the need to control things they normally can’t or shouldn’t? I’m speaking hypothetically here of course. Like, parents wish to control children’s choices far later than appropriate in life, men in congress wish to control what happens to a woman’s body (see the debates on abortion and things; please keep your politicking out of my body!) and other life choices and things. Is it instinctual to want to control everything around us and all that we see? Or has it been ingrained and indoctrinated into us by society as a society in which as individuals we ‘oppose the man’ but in the end ARE the man?
I feel the need to discuss this and, of course, there is no intelligent life on facebook. Please, reblog this. I want to see people’s responses. It’d be cool if I could see the whole of tumblr’s responses.
